The Meadows – Pollyteach KS4 Provision

Alongside core subjects, learners work towards NCFE Level 1 qualifications in Personal and Social Development and Well-being, supporting both academic progress and wider personal growth.
Our site is split across two purpose-built buildings:
Classroom Building – Home to our main office, four classrooms, a well-being space, and a central teaching room.
Social Building – Featuring a main kitchen, art room, snug area, pool table, and an upstairs well-being space designed for relaxation and support.
Learning takes place in small groups of 4:1 for core subjects, ensuring personalised attention, while well-being sessions are delivered on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis depending on each student’s needs.
Students also benefit from our wider provision through access to The Elms, Portland College facilities and the local community, enjoying opportunities such as Forest School, woodland walks, Woodland Adventure Zone sessions, volunteering projects, and charitable events.

Our dedicated well-being team delivers enriching outdoor learning sessions at Rhubarb Farm, The Mill Adventure Base, and through our on-site Forest School which provides hands-on opportunities to learn and grow in natural environments.
Students also benefit from excellent local resources, including the Woodland Adventure Zone and surrounding woodlands, with afternoons focused on engagement, enrichment, and experiential learning.
