Admissions Process
We accept applications throughout the year, and students can apply to join at any time, as long as they will be aged 8-16 on the date that they join us.
Parents / Carers
If your child is not in school, you will need to contact your Local Authority to express your interest in applying to Pollyteach to become an ‘On-roll’ student. They can apply via our Referral Form on your behalf.
If your child is currently in school, you will need to contact your child’s school to express your interest in applying, either to become an ‘On-roll’ student, or to access our Alternative Provision. They can apply via our Referral Form on your behalf.
Once we receive a Referral Form from either your Local Authority or your child’s school, we will assess the application to determine if we can meet your child’s needs. If we can meet needs, we will invite you and your child to visit us. After this visit, if you and your child are happy to proceed, and we have confirmed we can provide a suitable placement, we would send you an offer of placement. You will be given all the information you need to help your child prepare for joining us.
Referrers
If you are a school or Local Authority supporting a child to apply to join us, you will need to complete our Referral Form.
